BILLINGS, Mont. — Kampgrounds of America owners will have three new ways to save on the purchase of new KOA Deluxe Cabins in 2014.
On Thursday, KOA Senior Vice President Jef Sutherland announced during the 2014 KOA Annual International Convention in Austin a new, innovative program to encourage KOA owners to add more Deluxe Cabins to their campground inventories.
“We know from experience that Deluxe Cabins are a hugely popular way to camp, and have opened our campground to an entirely new market,” Sutherland said.
The new plan has three facets:
- KOA owners who add KOA-approved Deluxe Cabins to their campgrounds next year will not have to pay royalties on those new units for one year after first use if the unit is purchased in 2014.
- KOA owners adding Deluxe Cabins will receive a factory rebate of from $500 to $1,000 per unit, depending on the manufacturer, the model and the options offered.
- Independence Bank – a longtime financier of KOA campground improvements, is offering a 10-year financing plan, on approved credit.
“Our goal is to help our KOA owners capitalize on what we know is a wonderful addition to their campgrounds,” Sutherland said. “Deluxe Cabins have proven themselves, and we want as many as possible available for our campers.”
The KOA system currently has nearly 2,200 Deluxe Cabin units located at 334 campgrounds throughout North America.
