Ind. campground hosts ribbon cutting for newly installed cabins

(Oct. 24, 2013) -- On Wednesday morning, the Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly installed cabins at Narrow Lake Campground in Greene-Sullivan State Forest, reports the Greene County Daily World.

DUGGER, Ind. — On Wednesday morning, the Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly installed cabins at Narrow Lake Campground in Greene-Sullivan State Forest, reports the Greene County Daily World.

The Greene County Daily World says the campground is now equipped with five finished cabins.

Property Manager Steve Siscoe said the cabins are not currently equipped with electricity, but hopes to have this complete by spring. Once the electricity is included, there will be heating and air in the cabins as well, reports the Greene County Daily World.

Siscoe said the current rental rates for the cabins is $30 a night. When the electricity is functional, the price will raise to $35 a night.
