IL: New website aims to connect people with nature

(Oct. 30, 2018) -- Many people know about Constitution Trail, Funks Grove and Moraine View State Park, but the McLean County Greenways Advisory Committee wants people to know about more obscure but important sites, too, such as West Park in LeRoy and Schroeder Wildlife Sanctuary.

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Many people know about Constitution Trail, Funks Grove and Moraine View State Park, but the McLean County Greenways Advisory Committee wants people to know about more obscure but important sites, too, such as West Park in LeRoy and Schroeder Wildlife Sanctuary.

That’s why the group, which has been around for more than two decades, has launched a new website — mcplan.org/greenways — that outlines the locations, activities and amenities of more than 20 sites throughout McLean County.
