GA: Friends of Red Top Mountain celebrate volunteers

(Feb. 16, 2018) -- The Board of Directors of the Friends of Red Top Mountain State Park announced it will host a “Meet and Greet” event on Saturday, Feb. 17, to celebrate the work done by dedicated volunteers and to garner interest from new volunteers who may be unfamiliar with the plethora of service opportunities available at this popular State Park.

ACWORTH, Ga. — The Board of Directors of the Friends of Red Top Mountain State Park announced it will host a “Meet and Greet” event on Saturday, Feb. 17, to celebrate the work done by dedicated volunteers and to garner interest from new volunteers who may be unfamiliar with the plethora of service opportunities available at this popular State Park.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. at the tennis courts by the Visitors Center on Red Top Mountain Road and will end at 2 p.m.
