GA: Bishop campground seeks expansion

(April 20, 2017) -- An expansion of the RV Park got a favorable recommendation from the Planning Commission with a condition that occupancy of the spaces and cabins shall not exceed 90 days.

WATKINSVILLE, Ga. — Simple living is possible at Pine Lake Campground in Bishop for up to three months.

An expansion of the RV Park got a favorable recommendation from the Planning Commission with a condition that occupancy of the spaces and cabins shall not exceed 90 days.

On Monday, Commissioner Maria Caudill was the lone dissenter, voting against the proposal because the aforementioned condition changed last minute from 30 days to 90 days.
