FL: Monkeys force officials to close some areas of park

(July 14, 2017) -- A troop of wild monkeys has forced authorities to close off two areas of a Florida park to protect visitors.

OCALA, Fla. — A troop of wild monkeys has forced authorities to close off two areas of a Florida park to protect visitors.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, officials at the Silver Springs State Park in Ocala, Fla., closed the two areas when the some of the wild monkeys became aggressive with park visitors.
