Fenton Campground re-opened last week

CADIZ, Ky. — Fenton Campground re-opened to the public on Wednesday afternoon, Cadiz Record reported. Fenton was closed following significant storm damage earlier this year. Maintenance crews have worked hard to make necessary repairs to allow the campground to re-open 11 campsites, Cadiz Record explained.

Two campsites were decommissioned due to their location and degree of damage. Staff will continue to monitor Fenton for safety issues. Fenton now offers 11 sites with electric hook-ups, Cadiz Record noted.
