CO: Western Colorado KOA expands operation

(July 11, 2018) -- A Kampgrounds of America operation in Western Colorado has completed a $1.3 million expansion, bringing the total investment in infrastructure and amenities there to $3.8 million.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — A Kampgrounds of America operation in Western Colorado has completed a $1.3 million expansion, bringing the total investment in infrastructure and amenities there to $3.8 million.

New facilities at the Glenwood Springs West/Colorado River KOA Holiday include 36 patio sites, 14 of them along the Colorado River, as well as new bath houses and a boat launch. With the addition, the park now offers 100 recreational vehicle sites, four deluxe cabins, four camping cabins, three teepees and 14 tent sites.
