GRAND COUNTY, Colo. — It’s finally official.
Granby’s long negotiations with Sun Communities for a future RV park development drew to a close Tuesday night after the final approval of a slew of action items during the town’s board of trustees meeting concluding a two-year process that started with the purchase of the Shorefox property in spring 2016.
“It is tremendously exciting and rewarding to see this vision realized,” Granby Mayor Paul Chavoustie told Sky-Hi Wednesday morning. “This was a leap of faith. We calculated a lot. But it is wonderful to see it all come together and I truly believe it is in the best interests of the community.”
