WINTER HARBOR, Maine — Campgroundviews.com was on-hand at the ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the grand opening of the new Schoodic Woods Campground and Day Use Area in Acadia National Park.

The company has prepared a 2 minute video including footage of the camping sites and an interview with U.S. Senator Angus King (Ind – Maine).

“The grand opening of Schoodic Woods Campground is a historic moment for Acadia National Park,” said Mark Koep, founder of CampgroundViews. “The campground offers partial hookup RV and tent camping sites including pull-throughs and back-ins capable of handling any size RV with 20-, 30-, and 50-amp electric service. Situated on a 3,000-acre tract adjacent to park property there are also biking and hiking trails that depart from the area.”

King was the honorary ribbon cutter, and he and his wife stayed as overnight guests in their personal RV at the campground. CampgroundViews.com has also posted photos of the camping facilities and a short virtual tour of the grounds.
