CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. — The Desert Sun writes that the 55-and-over Desert Shadows RV Resort in Cathedral City is “a special place” where everyone is a “big family,” according to resort manager Terry Darby.

Darby has been on staff at the resort for five years and says that the level of friendliness among residents is what makes Desert Shadows such a great place to live, writes The Desert Sun.

The neighborhood is comprised of 460 spaces, about two-thirds of which are RV spaces and the remainder are park models, reports The Desert Sun.
