CA: Tenants sue RV park alleging unsafe conditions

(Aug. 7, 2018) -- A couple is seeking damages and relocation costs from the owners of Jack's Bayou Resort in Mendota, alleging that the RV park is not safe and unsanitary.

FRESNO, Calif. — A couple is seeking damages and relocation costs from the owners of Jack’s Bayou Resort in Mendota, alleging that the RV park is not safe and unsanitary.

Phyllis Marin and Gabriella Marin filed the complaint on July 20, in Fresno County Superior Court, against Adel Mohamed Ali, also known as Ali Adel Mohamed, Mike Roberts and Does 1-5.

The couple, who resides in a rented recreational vehicle at the park,claimed that the owners breached the “covenant of quiet enjoyment of the premises,” according to the lawsuit. The Marins live with their four children, including an infant, in the rented RV, according to the lawsuit.

  1. It seems individual responsibility and self respect are gone. Don’t like the place, move. Why would they stay 1 minute with children, especially an infant, if rodent infested? OH,,, sue as a few bucks is worth it????
