CA: Pit River Campground reopened after fire containment

(Aug. 20, 2018) -- The Bureau of Land Management announced Friday that they reopened the Pit River Campground following the full containment of the nearby Hat fire.

REDDING, Calif. — The Bureau of Land Management announced Friday that they reopened the Pit River Campground following the full containment of the nearby Hat fire.

BLM closed the campground temporarily on August 10 because the Hat fire was burning too close to the campsite.
