(April 19, 2017) -- "We still had standing water in the campgrounds, trees down and we couldn't clear it in time," said Dena Bellman with Pismo State Beach. "We have several reservations booked starting May 15th, so we plan on sticking to that goal."

After nearly three months of closure and nearly $200,000 in lost revenue, park officials have a goal to reopen May 1st.

“We have several reservations booked starting May 15th, so we plan on sticking to that goal,” said Bellman.
