CA: Burning planned in Calaveras Big Trees State Park

SONORA, Calif. — The Calaveras Big Trees State Park is planning to begin its fall prescribed burning program this week, so smoke will be visible at times.

Natural resource management staff, and CAL Fire, will burn throughout the next several months within the North and South Groves, along Big Trees Village and Blue Lake Springs.
