AR: Lake Ouachita upgrading park to Class A campground

(Jan. 18, 2018) -- Stephens Park Campground, located below Blakely Mountain Dam on Lake Hamilton, will be temporarily closed for maintenance upgrades.

MENA, Ark. — Stephens Park Campground, located below Blakely Mountain Dam on Lake Hamilton, will be temporarily closed for maintenance upgrades.

Water, Sewer, and 50 amp electrical service will be installed at all 9 campsites making Stephens Park a premier Class A campground. Two night-watcher security lights will also be installed at Stephens, and camping fees will be $30 per night when these renovations are completed. ($15.00/night with America the Beautiful discount cards or Golden Age/Access cards.)
