Alberta: Rules Harden for future use of Wallaceville

(June 19, 2017) -- After a presentation from resident Darwin Flathers, High River town council has solidified its decision to ensure the former Wallaceville neighbourhood remains in a natural state.

HIGH RIVER, Alberta — After a presentation from resident Darwin Flathers, High River town council has solidified its decision to ensure the former Wallaceville neighbourhood remains in a natural state.

Flathers attended the June 12 meeting and asked council to consider turning the lands, which were deemed in the flood plain through the province’s floodway relocation program, into a RV park.
