AB: Campground approved on land south of Bow River

(June 14, 2018) -- Vulcan County’s municipal planning commission (MPC) approved development permit applications June 6 for a campground and retail store on land south of the Bow River, just west of Highway 24.

VULCAN, Alberta — Vulcan County’s municipal planning commission (MPC) approved development permit applications June 6 for a campground and retail store on land south of the Bow River, just west of Highway 24.

Applicant Harry Turner intends to have five RV sites, including one for himself, for seasonal camping, said Anne Erickson, the County’s manager of development services, during the June 6 MPC meeting.
