16 suspected dealers arrested in Washington drug sweep

(Nov. 11, 2011) -- The Longview Daily News reports that police began the roundup just before noon at the Columbia Trailer Court in Longview, which includes about a dozen travel trailers and mobile homes, and is among the county's top places to score heroin.

LONGVIEW, Wash. — On Thursday, police arrested 16 suspected heroin and methamphetamine dealers in south Longview in an ambitious sweep aimed at cracking down on a notorious drug hot spot, reports the Longview Daily News.

Longview Police Capt. Robert Huhta said police searched for 33 suspected drug dealers in all. Those who weren’t arrested Thursday will be tracked down in the days to come, reports the Longview Daily News.

The Longview Daily News reports that police began the roundup just before noon at the Columbia Trailer Court, which includes about a dozen travel trailers and mobile homes, and is among the county’s top places to score heroin.  Detectives served a search warrant on the trailer of Jeffrey W. Leseberg, and as agents searched his trailer, other officers knocked on the doors of surrounding trailers, searching for additional suspects.
