(March 9, 2010) -- Navistar spokesperson Jillane Kleinschmidt told the Sun the new proposal calls for a technology center to be housed in a 230,000-square-foot structure, as opposed to the original 335,000-square-foot building. It will also be located on the corner of an 88-acre development and more than 535 yards from a school for autistic children and 321 yards from residential properties.

(March 9, 2010) -- An investigation has been launched into volunteer firefighters who bought surplus FEMA trailers less than two months after the local fire protection district acquired them. Federal law requires that the trailers be kept for public purposes for at least 18 months, the State-Journal Register reported.

(March 8, 2010) -- Windsor RV Show organizer Larry Boyd said people are still buying RVs despite a struggling economy. Friday, the first of three days of the show, saw sales jump 34 percent from last year’s first day, close to an upward trend he’s seen in other RV shows this year.
