DETROIT LAKES, Minn. -- The new owners of River Hills Park, an RV park and nine-hole golf course off of Highway 59, are working to enhance amenities and transform the 88-acre facility into a family-oriented location, the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead reported.
Barb, Frank, Helen and Ken Foltz are the new owners, and Dean Ellingson is the general manager.
The 130-lot park has a marina with a tram to transport boats to the Pelican River, from which they can access Big and Little Detroit Lakes, Muskrat Lake and Lake Sallie, the paper reported.
The park also boasts a new clubhouse with an indoor swimming pool and a nine-hole golf course being updated with new greens and tee boxes. The former clubhouse will be converted into a restaurant, bar and grill, Ellingson said.
