CALGARY, Alberta -- With the long weekend ahead, there were fewer than 25 spots left on Alberta Park's online campsite reservation system, the Calgary Herald reported.
"There's another 140 or so provincial campgrounds that offer first come, first served," Anne Douglas, director of communication for Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation, told the Herald. "People can still get a spot."
Douglas explained the mixed reservation system works for those who like to plan ahead and those who don't.
