SALT LAKE CITY -- Copies of the new 2010/2011 “Life Elevated” Utah Travel Guide are now available for travelers to plan their Utah vacations.
A dramatic shot of Canyonlands National Park’s Natural Arch is featured on the cover of the guide, which contains 176 pages of full-color photography, comprehensive destination information, and a pull-out map. The new guide includes a welcome from Governor Gary R. Herbert.
“This new Utah Travel Guide builds on the momentum we have experienced since the launch of the ‘Life Elevated’ brand,” says Leigh von der Esch, managing director of the Utah Office of Tourism, an agency of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED). “The eye-catching photography and outstanding design work make this guide a coffee table keeper. It’s a stunning presentation of information that allows the traveler to easily find the exceptional experiences accessible throughout the state.”
The guide also functions as an economic development tool for the state. “Our new Travel Guide showcases the many key contributors to Utah’s quality of life,” says GOED executive director Spencer Eccles. “Our winter and summer activities highlighted in the new guide provide the ‘natural incentives’ Utah needs to retain, grow and attract business.”
