LANGLEY, Ark. -- It was just last month when 20 people died in a flash flood at the Albert Pike Campground. Saturday victims' families reunited, reports Today's THV.
According to Today's THV, families plan to reunite at least once a year at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where they comforted one another in the worst days of their lives.
Saturday, victims and extended family were able to walk through the devastation.
Pastor Graig Cowart with Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church went with them. He told Today's THV, "It was a hard, difficult thing, but I think it was a good thing and they got a sense of closure."
Albert Pike Campground is closed and will remain closed until further notice to allow for search, rescue and recovery activities. Due to these activities, many roads and trails in the vicinity will remain closed and unavailable for public use until further notice.
