SASKATCHEWAN -- Anyone visiting Saskatchewan and planning to camp in a provincial park will pay more for a spot this summer, reports CBC.ca.
According to the news report, Saskatchewan's government implemented the increased fees early this March, saying the move would generate close to $200,000 a year.
Campers like Rory Crawford, who lives in Medicine Hat, Alta., but frequently camps in some of Saskatchewan's 39 parks, are steaming over the price hike. Crawford will now pay between $4 and $6 more per night to stay at a campsite, something he told CBC.ca isn't fair.
