MIDDLEBORO, Mass. -- Enterprise News reports that a judge has ordered Barbara A. Holton, owner of Tispaquin Family Camp Area in Middleboro, to reduce camper units by 10 a week until she reaches 57.
Enterprise News reports that Holton was found in contempt for not complying with a 2011 injunction over how many campers are allowed at the 40-acre campground.
Holton has a permit for 57 sites, but doubles up camper units on sites. Holton said there are 103 campers at the campground, but Town Counsel Daniel F. Murray said officials recently counted 109, reports Enterprise News.
