SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- A lawsuit filed on behalf of people who say they've been unfairly targeted by recent police enforcement, is challenging a San Luis Obispo ordinance that prohibits sleeping in vehicles on city streets, reports the San Luis Obispo Tribune.
The San Luis Obispo Tribune reports that the lawsuit alleges the law is unconstitutional, vague and results in arbitrary enforcement.
The San Luis Obispo Tribune reports that the lawsuit also argues the ordinance criminalizes "sleeping and/or living when either is associated with a recreational vehicle.”
