Former MRVDA director dies at 59

NEOSHO, Mo. — Stephen N. Spicer, 59, Neosho, passed away on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, following a long-term illness, according to an obituary in the Neosho Daily News.

Spicer owned and operated Steve Spicer Motors in Joplin from 1980 to 1996. He also owned Four State R.V. and Dirt & Water in Carthage, Four State Manufactured Home in Neosho, and opened Steve Spicer Realty in 2004.

During the course of his business career, he served as an active member of the Missouri Auto Dealers Association and as director of both the National Auto Dealers Association and the Missouri R.V. Dealers Association.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Neosho.
