Meteorologist John Dawson checked back with a favorite state park, which was nearly destroyed from drought-fueled wildfires in September 2011.

MyFox Houston says: "While most in Texas have rejoiced with the recent rains that we’ve seen, they’ve also created some setbacks for the park. The last week of January was too much for a park struggling to rebuild -- over 4 inches of rain in one night."
