FLORIDA -- In an effort to fund state parks, seven Florida trails may soon be open to advertisers, reports WJHG-TV.
According to the news report, a bill to allow companies to buy ad space at trail access points is almost ready for debate in the Florida Senate.
WJHG-TV says State Senator Stephen Wise is moving a bill to allow companies to sponsor the St. Marks Trail and six others.
Needless to say, nature enthusiasts aren’t very enthused about the plan.
