ST. GEORGE, Utah -- Camping World, the nation’s largest RV and outdoor retailer, will be opening their newest retail location in St. George, Utah, officially named Camping World of St. George.
Camping World of St. George, located at 1500 South Hilton Drive in St. George, just off I-15 at Exit 6 will encompass both a Camping World retail store and Camping World RV Sales dealership. It is in the facilities formerly occupied by Painters RV.
The tentative grand opening celebration is slated for April. Customers will find deals on hundreds of new and pre-owned RVs as well as a large product offering of RV supplies and service. The company is looking to hire at least 30 employees to increase their sales, service and support needs for this local dealership.
“We look forward to having Camping World serve the Southern Utah community,” said Camping World RV Sales President Roger Nuttall. “Not only do we have great expectations for Camping World of St. George as a retail location, as a native of St. George, I am excited about our opportunity to contribute to the community and the surrounding area”.
Nuttall is a native of St. George and an alumnus of Dixie High School and Dixie State College. Nuttall is also a member of the National Advisory Committee (NAC) of Dixie State College.
"Camping World currently has over 80 locations in the US but opening this new location in my hometown is significant of “coming back home, to my roots” said Nuttall. “We are excited for the opportunities we will contribute to in this historic city of St. George, and encourage the community to come in and speak with our team about their RV lifestyle needs and opportunities.
