Kevin Phillips named Executive VP of Thetford

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Kevin Phillips has been named executive vice president – North America for Thetford Corporation, a leading global supplier of sanitation and refrigeration products for the recreational vehicle, marine and heavy-truck industries.

Phillips previously was vice president of sales and marketing for the company's North American operations. Prior to joining Thetford in 2005, he had held senior management positions at Guardian Automotive, GKN Sinter Metals and Delphi Automotive's Delco Electronics Division.

A member of the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) board, Phillips currently is chairman of the association's membership committee and also serves on its market information and supplier committees.

"Kevin's leadership experience and extensive knowledge of the RV industry make him an ideal candidate to grow our future operations in North America," said Stephane Cordeille, the company's CEO.

A native of Davison, Mich., Phillips holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in business policy and marketing from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.

He is married and has three children. The family lives in Dexter, Mich.
