BOTHELL, Wash. -- RV Comfort Systems announced today it has partnered with major RV coach builders to install their patented CheapHeat add-on electric heating system.
With the CheapHeat system, RV owners will have the option of simply flipping a switch to use either electricity or gas as a source to heat their coach with the manufacturer installed central forced air heating system.
The RV Comfort Systems CheapHeat product is designed to be a 100 percent heating system. In most cases, when the RV is plugged to an OEM recommended shore power source, the owner will be able to use electricity to heat the RV even when outside temperatures are as low a 0 degrees -- and without using any supplemental heat, said Larry McGaugh, with RV Comfort Systems.
The CheapHeat system is UL certified and RV Industry Association compliant in the United States and Canada. It uses a single smart controller that works all configurations and is available with three different styles of adapter for their multi-stage heater that works on either an Atwood or Suburban furnace.
“When a RVer uses the system, it’s not uncommon for owners to go a year or more without having to refill his propane tanks,” said McGaugh.
