GOLD BEACH, Ore. -- The search was on yesterday for three missing mushroom pickers, who disappeared almost five days ago from the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. They were last seen at the Huntley Park campground, where they left behind their camp trailer and two dogs, reports The Associated Press.
The Associated Press reports that their SUV was found off a logging road on Wednesday, and clothing and mushroom-picking gear were found some some distance away.
The Associated Press reports that the area is in rugged country riddled with a maze of logging roads in the Klamath Mountains where people frequently get lost or stranded.
