TUCSON, Ariz. -- RV adventure videographer John Holod today released the dates of RV shows at which he will be presenting his RV Adventure Video series in February.
In January, Holod and his partner, Jodie, went to St. Louis to show a travel film at Washington University. After that, she traveled to Raleigh, N.C., to do a three-day RV show, while Holod headed to Green Bay, Wisc.
"Yes, it was colder than a (insert your joke here)," he explained. "It was ZERO, not counting wind chill. I didn't have any gloves so I had to drive my rental car with my stocking hat on my hand to keep it from freezing to the steering wheel.
"But, the show was great and the people were wonderful," he added. "Vicki Frank put together a wonderful show. I then traveled back to Tucson to thaw out and do show a travel film in Casa Grande. Rock Earl put on the first travel film series every there and did a good job. The proceeds went to the Boys and Girls Clubs."
This week, Holod heads to Grand Rapids, Mich., for the Showspan RV Show through Feb. 5. After a day of steelhead fishing with Captain Ken and friends, he plans to fly to Seattle for an RV show Feb. 9 to 12. He returns to Tucson for the company's annual RV show at the Voyager Resort Ballroom on Feb 13.
After that, it's off to Charlotte, N.C., for a three-day RV show.
Holod said that many people have been wanting to order the new "Eastern Canada RV Adventure: the Maritimes & Newfoundland," however, due to some health problems, he's about a month behind schedule. He promises to have it out as soon as possible and noted that Nefoundland is a beautiful place to RV.
