Alabama Good Sam chapter enters 35th year

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. -- The Cheaha Good Sam Chapter of the Good Sam RV Club, now in its 35th year, met for their monthly meeting Jan. 14. The group is encouraging Good Sam RV Club members in Jacksonville to apply for membership in the chapter, reports Jacksonville News.

Jacksonville News reports that the group meets for a week or so at a time during nine months of the year at various campgrounds throughout the Southeast. The 16 couples in the chapter enjoy nature, engage in campground activities and get to know their fellow RVers, writes Jacksonville News.

Jacksonville News writes that members try to camp near each other at each designated campground, and sometimes even travel to sites in a caravan. The Cheaha group usually has one potluck meal during the week, and they eat lunch at a restaurant at least once.
