Sudden flood turns Canadian campground into an island

(Aug. 25, 2010) -- Eileen MacLellan and Chris MacKinnon were frantic with worry last weekend about family members and tourists at MacLellans' campground after heavy rain and washouts cut off the community overnight, The Globe and Mail reported. Power was out and MacKinnon was the only one who could fix the campground’s water system, the paper noted.
