Travel trailers: Home, sweet home in N.D.
(May 11, 2012) -- KELOLAND TV reports that Minneapolis, Minn. housing developer Dave Kingman is one of more than 6,000 who have come to Watford City over the past five years during the oil boom. But he now provides a different kind of home; 26-foot travel trailers.
Vineyards Camground wins TACO award -- again
(May 10, 2012) -- "I try to use all of the educational resources that are given to us as an industry," said Joe Moore, assistant general manager of the Vineyards, which occupies 52 acres of an 850-acre mostly wooded scenic area encircling Grapevine Lake. For Moore, that means subjecting himself and his park to ongoing scrutiny and criticism from park guests as well as his peers in the campground business, he explained.
Florida ARVC raises $16,000 during convention
(May 10, 2012) -- The Florida Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds raised more than $16,000 in its annual fundraising auction Wednesday night, which took place during the half-way point of the association's 2012 conference and expo. Proceeds from the auction will be used to pay for the association's scholarship fund and educational programs

(May 10, 2012) -- A new RV resort park may be coming to North Cape Coral. WZVN-TV reports that the idea is just in the beginning stages, but feelings are already mixed.
New PEI park operators looking to cater to seasonal campers
(May 10, 2012) -- Dale and Bonnie Wood, the new operators of Green Park in western Prince Edward Island, are looking at ways to attract new kinds of campers. One idea is to expand seasonal sites, reports CBC.ca.
