Ocean Canyon Properties acquires Okla. resort

(April 11, 2012) -- Ocean Canyon Properties (OCP), a privately-owned membership camping resort company, announced today that they have acquired Texoma Shores Resort in Madill, Okla. The resort is a special property in this popular tourist area, boasting over a mile of shoreline on Lake Texoma.

(April 10, 2012) -- “It was really fun watching everyone compete,” Napp said. “Many of our parks videotaped their competitions and created parties around their events and just took a lot of pride in each winner. Many parks also rented buses and vans to bring up their customers to cheer their park’s winner at the final competition. We initially thought we were only going to have about 600 spectators, but we wound up with more than 1,200.”

(April 10, 2012) -- Annual visitors and guests to the Tipsinah Mounds Park and Campground in Elbow Lake will see many changes this year, including the addition of a 20- by 80-foot emergency shelter rated to withstand an F-4 tornado, reports the Fergus Falls Daily Journal.

New UK motorhome park to be unveiled Thursday
